Matt Lee Uses:
Matthew Alan Lee has been playing guitar professionally since the age of 15 and has almost 20 years of playing experience with a very diverse background in many different ensembles, formats and styles. Some on his main influences are Frank Zappa, Chet Atkins, Danny Gatton, Junior Brown, Django Reinhardt, Villa-Lobos just to name a few. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Music from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh were he studied primarily classical music but also contributed his talents to guitar quartets, jazz ensembles and various improvisational groups. His style attempts to merge much of what he has learned from education and influences into a unique blend of both taste and technique.
Currently Matthew resides in Nashville Tennessee where he has been showcasing his talents for the past four years. Matthew keeps a very busy schedule with an average of 300 dates a year in and out of the Nashville area. He has shared the stage with hit songwriters such as Ray Stephenson and Buddy Owens, as well as Lower Broadway Legends like The Don Kelly Band. Mr.Lee can be found playing a minimum of five nights a week all over Nashville with up and coming groups such as The Shawn and Hobby Band, Elio and The Hank Sinatra Band, and The Travis Mann Band.
